UPPSC Syllabus – UPPSC Pre Exam Pattern
UPPSC Pre Exam Pattern is given below. UPPSC Prelims consists of two papers – Paper I Paper II, Both the papers will be of 200 marks each with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam will be held on the same day, and the duration of both the papers will be 2 hours.

- There will be a negative marking of 0.33% for each wrong answer
- For example, if the maximum marks allotted for a question is 2, then 0.66 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
- There is no negative marking for leaving the question blank.
- Paper 2 (CSAT) is a qualifying paper in the UPPCS / PCS Pre paper in which candidates have to secure a minimum of 33% marks.

UPPSC Syllabus - UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Pattern
UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Pattern is given below. The marks obtained in this examination will be considered for the final selection of the candidates. The UPPSC Mains exam consists of eight descriptive papers. The duration of the exam for each paper will be 3 hours.
